Need more info tbh, year, abs?
All depends on your hubs, they have tapered/non tapered long short and all sorts of things I never remember. Plus if you haappen to be one of the lucky few with abs you need different shafts for that too.
Unfortunately I don't know when all the changes happened ect.

    2 kinds of driveshafts

the splined bit that goes into the hub can have a tapered seat or a flat seat. someone posted pictures of the differences on here, search about

Guess the easiet way (unless someone can provide a definate answer) would be to take yours out and bring it with you to the scrappies.

LSOfreak??.. Would i know the diffrence from lookin at the drive on the car or would i have to take it out??

Tapered shafts have a long nut about 40mm long non tapered have a stubby nut thats much shorter prob 20mm ish.

Ok and where abouts are these bolts located? On the outer part ov the drive is it?..
  9. #9
    as taj said.

The nut is on the hub side, you may need to take your wheel off though.

Thats grand, and dose it come out without the drive falling out lol

If you dont have a clue how to do it i suggest not to even attempt................... the year of the car would be good as they changed the shafts on a 2000.

if its the drivers side a 1.4 shaft won't do it as the shaft on an R is 2 piece with intermediate bearing whereas a 1.4 is a one piece shaft
