Air temp sensor on 1.1 Saxo ??

Ive got a v plate 1.1sx but there doesn't seem to be an air temp sensor around the throttle body as previously advised. Is it located elsewhere as STILL experiencing cold start refusals! ? !

Have you checked the air filter piping?Although mine is not a 1.1 its plugged into the air filter lid.At the back of the coil pack (if yours is a square block.)there are wires plugged
into it these go to the air temp sensor try following the wires back.

There is a device of some kind inside the right hand side af air filter housing that two small rubber pipes push into. It is not wired to anything though; just sits inside the housing.

Im not on my own computer so couldn't circle the sensor but i did manage to fuzz it up around it. It sounds to me like you have an SPI engine the sensor you are after is the one with the fuzzy circle round it in the pic. I may be wrong about the engine hope this helps.

As you look at the TB the sensor is at the rear its a little nodule that sticks out and is protected by a small curved bit of metal. Its just to the left of the injector at the rear as you look at the TB under the bonnet.
