Light on Hazard Switch

  1. #1
Hi. I managed to get some spare hazard light switches from the scrappy to use as switches for some lights. Got them working fine but now I want to try and get the little LED on them to light up so I can tell when they are on.

Does anyone know which pin(s) on the back I need to wire up for this ?

    Thanks

just get some new leds i used 3mm ones solder resisters to the leg and replace the orginal one.
the front part of the button unclips then pull out the red triangle thing to swap over leds

Yeah I have changed the LED and removed the Hazard markings from the switch. I just need to know what pins I need to connect up to get the LED to light up when the switch is on.

I have tried putting a single live to each pin and its not working so I guess its needs other pins to be connected to get it working.

prob not the hazard switch you want then as when on the light flashes rather than staying constant?
have u actually switched the lights on to test this too? caught me out first time

The LED's the switch is hooked up to stay on constantly.

The hazard ones are the only ones I have been able to find on eBay and at the scrappy that work as switches. The Rear window ones don't stay on.

iv wired a rear window switch in mine and it works fine apart from the led coming on with it...
iv not looked into it but couldn't you rewire the positive for the led to the same positive you used for the lights and negative to negative?
