VTR and VTS gearboxes?

   are these the same or are they different? i know theyll both fit, but how does it affect the gears and such?

   VTS box has shorter ratios so will have better acceleration but slightly lose top speed
   
   VTR box has longer ratios so slightly slower acceleration but will be better for fuel economy
