suspension 1.1 - vt

  1. #1
just looking on kamracing, the thing is, suspension kits come in different "models"

ie different for flattys to vt's

i WANTED to lower my flatty because obviously they ride high as standard, but i was hoping it to be more of an investment as the only reason im driving a 1.1 is because insurance companies are cunts

so can i not buy these to add to a vt at a later date?

iirc mate the rear dampers are interchangable, the problem wiv the fronts is that vt's have droplinks to the front anti roll bars (iirc), plus have power steering (dont know if yours has).

But im unsure if just the damper inserts will fit in the hub or not

    Correct me if im wrong

That kit is exactly the same as the one for VTR/VTS, and will fit a VTR when you get one.

Basically every model of Saxo has the same way of fitting the dampers, for the front they are inserts into the strut leg, and rear is bolted between rear beam and trailing arms. and all spring pans are the same.

That kit states 50mm for 1.0 or 1.1 models simply because there is less weight to the car (lack of VT kit, often no PAS, etc) but it is exactly the same kit as the one which will state 60mm for VTR/VTS models.

With the extra kit and parts on those models the weight will ultimately make it slightly lower.

    Hope that makes sense
