Debadged boot...how to get rid of lettering outline!

   Hi my boot has been debadged on my gti it was done before i got the car but whoever did it didn't get any t-cut on it and polish the lettering away so now im left with an outline of the letters but its not the sticky residue stuff its just simply an outline. I have tried miracle polish, turtle wax and some other stuff but nothing seems to work lol i haven't tried t-cut as of yet but im running out of ideas...can anyone help?

   I think thay's probably your first port of call then.

   i just used a small amount of white spirit and washed it off straight away. then polished it. done the trick nicely

   I used T-Cut on mine when I took mine off and it worked a treat!

   G3 works(cutting compound)& less abrasive than T-cut which has a bad name on here.

   tried autoglym tar remover already and that didn't work lol so think i will try t-cut next see if that moves it

    you can get a small tub on ebay for £3 but i personally would ask you autosmart rep for some
