No power to fuel pump fuse. HELP?

  1. #1
Hey all, new to the forum and I have a 98' VTR. Got the car cheap and sorting out a few issues, latest is that the fuel pump appeared to stop working, eg no whiirr click when starting. It's not the cut off switch, and the pump seems fine, tried knocking it to loosen off a possible stuck something, but no joy. Discovered there is no power to fuse 9, on the inner N/S wing, which I believe is the feed to the fuel pump. What could be causing this? it's doing my head in, my electrical knowledge has met a wall.. I have tried a different fuse and still no joy. Any help or suggestions would be great

    Thanks, Pete

i had the same problem in my 52 VTR... i simply replaced the fuel pump... But now the fuel gauge doesnt work! it's nothing to do with the new pump as the gauge now doesnt work with the old pump... any suggestions?
