   Hey guys,when should a timing belt be changed after how many thousand miles?? Can they snap and if so is the engine fookd from there on??

   I think its around 75k for a vtr, or if its more than 7-8 years old probably worth getting it changed anyway, they can snap and if they do it can get pretty expensive!

   For keeping your mind at ease they ought to be changed every 40k miles or 4 years. That's what I do anyway.
