Door pins

   My N/S door has a sheared upper door pin and the lower one its tight as fxxx. Its at the point where i can feel its going to round the torx hole in it. I have heated the hinge and oiled it loads. Im at the point now where im thinking to weld a nut on the top of it so i can get the door off to remove/change the upper pin.
   
   Anyone got any suggestions, tips or ideas before the welder comes out?

   If you've got a decent torx bit, then just have someone take the strain off the door (i.e. takes the weight off by holding it upwards) and have a crack at it.
   
   I ruined a torx bit before I rounded the bolt doing mine. As I was scrapping it, I just ended up grinding the hinge off the shell.
   
   But if you round it, might as well reach for the welder and do as you suggested.
