Idle problemsss

   Mk2 vtr 02 reg, checked and tried new icv, when i unplug map sensor the car cuts out, so does that mean its not that? how do i know if my coolant temp sensor is working? what else could it be?
   
   the problem is sumtimes it idles lumpy the revs jump up and down, also i cant really put my finger on it but it just doesnt seem to run smoothly when driving and i think the revs take longer to drop than they should when changing gear, happens mostly when starting the car back up after its been running.
   
   Im thinking of buying a coolant temp sensor am I on the right track?

   Engine coolant sensor is the cheapest sensor I think so maybe give it a try. MAP sensors are around £20-35 also just match up the part numbers. Mine runs dodgy after starting when warm and I was advised it could be coilpack but havnt got round to it yet.

   cheers mate ill probably give the coolant sensor a go hoping its not the coilpack to b honest lol
