I had my ecu unlocked at a cost of about 80 quid. But i still doesnt work. Seems that the some of the systems wont work on the car without the immobiliser box being plugged in so if you disconnect the immobiliser box the multi-function relay in the engine bay doesnt want to work the fuel pump or the coil. I cant be the only person that has had this problem. The only way round it would be to get a coded key, immobiliser box and ecu off another car but then why would people say they can unlock your ecu if it aint going to work. The car obviuosly wont start and i dont want to go waste more money trying. Has anyone on here got any ideas about what to do and if you can get past the immobiliser.
The ecu is a bosch mp5.2 car is a mk1 vtr s reg with a chipped key and immobiliser box behind the dash.
Any help would be amazing cause ive already run out of idea and paid a auto electrician to look at it.
