Saxo vtr 01

    Abit strange this as i cant locate noise.

    Basically when i change gear and accelerate i get like this short grinding noise then goes what could it be as it is pissing me off now

    Still have no idea what the problem is or were its coming from can't locate it!

    Happens when i change gear and accelerate just over 2K and sometimes when i turn the car

    id say driveshafts/bearings as when you go round a corner but changin gear makes me think gearbox or clutch, if it helps i had a k nocking sound in my saxo which happened at the same times your is and that was a loose suspension strut

    Its kinda like a grind rather than a knocking sound.... Thing is i can hear something go round very slightly sometimes... I hope its not the driveshafts as i really cant be arsed messing around with them.... I may just change the clutch see if it goes

    release bearing in your clutch mate. had the same problem. when you reach the biting point you get a grinding sound. if it is that then your looking at a new clutch kit

    Its not at biting point its after i have put gear in and then put foot on the gas over 2k the noise comes, I may just get a new clutch kit anyway sod it

    just pop it into a garage mate im sure they will tell you straight away. dont wana waste money on things you might not need lol

    Nah its all good mate, Ive just about changed everything to new on the car anyway apart from main engine parts like headgasket, injectors etc but other than that everything else lol
