   supp..
   bought a vtr fully standard..fitted in a normal pipercross induction then the car started soundin fairly nice. thought ill upgrade a little..
   so i went and fitted in a pipercross viper + direct feed and a magnex 3.5" backbox..problem is the car sounds so quiet now u wouldnt notice me even drive by!
   
   from research i found out that the magnex backbox is known to be quiet..so now am thinking if i install supersprint centre straight through system (MK2) which will take off the silencer will the car then sound abit more lively? or sound absolutly shite as the silencer is gone?

   The exhaust will sound quiet because the cat is in the manifold. I have recently put a supersprint straight through on mine with cat in mani and it's really quiet and doesn't pop.

   not really bothered about popping..if u want the pop ull need to decat it, just wondering if i took out the silencer and replace it with a straight through system will that make it sound more lively? or would i juust have to decat the fucker? thinkin just sellin the exhaust to be honest!

   I think decat for noise, like I said my straight though with 2" inch backbox is really quiet. No silencer in it just the cat in manifold restricting the noise I think.

   magnex are really quiet anyway, removing the silencer will increase noise, have a look on youtube, there is a vid of a vtr with supersprint system and a jap back box, sounds nice, decat will make it even louder and improve performance.

   right let me get this right, you had a open air filter but a standard exhaust to start with then you've put on a enclosed air filter and a back box, if im right then a inclosed air filter like the viper will not sound as loud as a open air filter due to it beening incased and the direct hose pointing well away from the driver = quieter, the other thing is that by doing that and putting on a back box you changed where the noise is coming from, ie not right in front of the bulk head where you sit to the rear of the car so in theory will be quieter. if you want that the noise to increase then my advise to you mate is to buy a mani and a full system not only will it help with increase your noise but will help the car breathe better, induction wise the vipers are crap, personal opinion, your better going with a open filter and just modify the hose and moving it into a cold place, that or throttle boddies
