knocking noise ?

    hi peeps, just replaced my driveshaft as its been on its way out for a while now the cv cover came loose and all the grease dried up in the driveshaft- was like that for about a month but the other day i heard a knocking noise on my car every time i let go off the accelarator it starts making a knocking type of noise but i thought it was the driveshaft- i just replaced the driveshaft but the noise is still there it kinder vibrates through the floor off the car too but it just seems weird it only happens when i let off the pedal ? just wodnered if any one had any ideas on what they think it could be ? thanks much apprecitated adam

    Mine did that too mate got it sorted today, does it do it when you steer at all? maybe the shaft isn't in the box properly or the box is on its way out?

    Mine was a loose wheel (embarrassing as fuck)

    oh lol, seems to do it when im a straight line i tried to dip the clutch up and down to see if that makes any differance but still is there hope it aint the gearbox ive had enough problems with this car lol
