    Wrong section

What wrong with the vt kit arches?

Wide arches dont suit saxos imo and espcially when you can see the fixings!

Looks like somebody has riveted a bit of blue plastic to the side
Not a fan...looks cheap and tacky

Ask Mikol. He purchased a pair for his 106 but never fitted them. Not sure if he still has them. Search "Mikol"

He can be found regularly on the 106 OC.

thats the arches iam after who makes them ? and brendan you know were i can get some from i think they look awsome tbh.

As long as you get the colour to match I think they'll look mint!!
  10. #10
cheers mate same colour as car you reckon ?
  11. #11
i think they could look alright if you filler in the bolt holes other wise it'll just look a mess, have you not thought about getting the real wide arches that the rally car saxos use
  12. #12
yeah i fort about the maxi kit but will cost over 1k to have it all done
  13. #13
also if you wanna take you bump strips off you will be left with a line of holes down each side of your car that will need welding and pretty much all your car will need to be resprayed would be easier to start off with a 106 gti or a s1 106 basically anything that has no or just stuck on bump strips

I don't think theres anything wrong with showing off the rivets. When using Miglia arches on a classic mini you still see the rivets and they look sweet. I don't think this will be any different. It'll be unique, Get the colour the same as the car and you'll have one different saxo!

Those bolt on arches could also sort out the legal problem with wide wheels and tyres
  16. #16
Theyre really big on driftworks, means you can cut the arch out behind and fit wide wheels with a realy low ride hight!

On the right car they look mental

Couldn't tell you too be honest pal, but i'm guessing they would be too small. Unless your own adjustments were made.

In the febuary issue of redline magazine there was a blue 106 xsi and he'd fitted some of these to it, it looked pretty good on the 106 so im sure you could make it work on the saxo.
