    Im sure I was reading a progress thread the other day were somebody had a vodka bottle as an oil catch tank. Can anyone point me in the direction of it again?
    I'm not thinking of doing it don't worry!

    Wouldn't work mate it needs an air hole aswell as the feed hole

    If you could get the pipe from the rocker cover to go into a bottle, there would be some space around it to let air in/out.

    Or you could just drill a hole in the bottle

    There's a lot of people on here who give up as soon as something seems remotely taxing, FFS get on with it and get something done!


    FYI If I was attempting this I'd put tape around the hole to try and stop chipping/flaking on way in, use a pillar drill on the lowest gear it has, a new SHARP carbide or diamond drill and go slow. I reckon it'll work. Be very careful on the last bit - it'll want to break away as you come through.
