CONSTANT AT 4,000rpm HELP ME

    Car was driving me at 35mph...without me touching the accelerator. clutch in = 4000 rpm!
    throttle cable isnt getting caught as far as i could see.
    possibly a sensor, not sure which one though.

    any help would be MUCH MUCH MUCH appreciated!

    Idle controll valve? but ur not idle.... im not sure if it would still make a diff..

    clean it costs nothing to clean it hahaah xD so worth a try, there is a guide on here about it.

    removed the throttle body and totally clean it, i use ear buds and electrical contact cleaner (aerosol spray) take all the sensors out and give them a good clean. also make sure all the breather ports are clear ect.

    Its the coolent temp sensor when the revs stick to that many revs.
