right, to start with.. i am a complete noob when it comes to lowering my car, so bare with me
looking at lowering my vtr 50mm all round on apex springs, do i need to buy shocks for this too or will the current ones be ok? how low can i go before i need new shocks? i think ive seen someone say 40mm before, but not sure
if anyone could link me up to what i'd need i would be very much grateful
    thanks!

The general concusses seems to be that 40mm is the lowest you would want to go with standard dampers. Any lower and the life of your shocks will be lessened. I would take the hit on the wallet and buy the shocks as well if you can

    Something like this- http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...saxo-35mm.html

50mm should be fine, a few people i know have gone lower than that on standard shocks and eveerything seems to be ok. For now.

Problem with the apex -50mm springs is that they'll rattle about if used with standard shocks... this will fail an mot and im my opinion is dangerous.

On another note, if you need someone to fit your springs and adjust the torsion bar the correct way then give me a shout
