clutch problems! anyone know the cause?

   my clutch has very short travel which makes it very snappy and the pedal isnt in line with the other pedals (its behind them). is it the clutch or just the clutch cable needing adjustment?

   Try adjusting your cable, Shud bring pedal back up in line with the others.

   if the cable is adjusted, then the release bearing could be wearing through the clutch plate (common fault).

   As already stated, try adjusting the cable but be aware that the release bearing could be wearing through the clutch.
   
   If you need a new clutch fitted then let me know, i can supply and fit for £190 all inclusive.

   hopefully itll turn out to be the cable. but the cars done 90k miles so it may turn out to be the clutch...had to send it to the garage anyway so ive told them to take a look!

   turned out to be the cable needing adjusting. but ive been told the clutch is on its last legs anyway (may last a year)! anyway thanks for the help people!
