Important! : Help!

i'm putting on my sprayed silver cd console, took ages getting all the buttons off etc. but i cant get the top heater vent out of the old trim, how on earth do i get it out, because the new one i got which has been sprayed, doesnt have the vent in it, just a gap at the top so it can slot in.

someone needs to help me, otherwise i will probably be sitting in my car all night,
how do i get the vent out of the trim??

there is a little rod either side at the bottom

the little rod doesn't do anything, do i push it in, pull it out, because i cant do either, its so small i cant even grab it
  4. #4
    pull them out

with what? no tool is that small to get a grip of those things! not even my fingers can grab hold of them properly
  6. #6
    needle nose pliers.
  7. #7
turn it around so the back is towards you then you should be able to slide them out from the inside
  8. #8
use some needle nosed pliers, i did mine other day, they just pull out.
