Hi all, is the fuel regulator known to go on 16vs? Also if it has what problems would it cause???

    It's not known to go.

Its running very rich, is there anyway i could test it? What bar should a standard 16v be? I have 3 bar iv tried but that seems even worse.

Standard one suld be 3bar but the one from a vtr will work which is 3.5 bar

Im guessing the 3.5 bar allows more fuel to pressure up? I need to cut the fuel.

Hmm yh it would the other thing u can try if to put a adjustable fpr in just out ov intrest how do u no it's tuning rich ?

If engine is standard then use standard fpr - as the problem will be elsewhere.

    What Ecu you running?

As per above, why you say it's running rich?

There alot of fuel coming out the fuel return and when it does rev hard it pushes black smoke out and you can smell its getting to much fuel.

How have you plumbed the fuel return in?

Off the rail straight to the return port on the tank, it never used to have any fuel come out it used to be blocked and even when i unblocked it it had nothing come out but now it comes out like a hose even if i unplug it off the rail.
