vtr box in vts

Are there any major changes I need to do to fit a vtr gearbox into a vts? Or is it literally take vts box out, fit vtr box in.

No changes to driveshafts required either.

I need a new gearbox and have a vtr box to hand, just want to check before I go ahead and fit it.

    Thanks.

    yep, nothing needs changing

Straight swap but you know the vtr box has longet ratios so it will be a slightly slower acceleration? Better fuel though.

That's good to hear, even if its mark 2 vtr to a mark 1 vts? Nothing meeds changing?
I'm not too fussed about the acceleration at the moment, its just easier and cheaper to replace the box than get the studs drilled out the s box because they snapped. And its hard to get it some gears.

    Thanks guys.
