Idle Problem (Update)

   just got my vts mk2 back from garage nothings been done to it because the ecu wouldn't talk to any of his equipment.
   Sooooo im waiting for my new idle contol valve to arrive but if that not the problem could it be the ecu itself or any sensors????

   Im in the same boat as you dude, iv replaced ICV, TPS, air temp sensor, map sensor, temp sensor, lambda and i just dont know what the problem is, even tried another now and still like it!!!! im s angry with it.

   I had this problem with my s in the end I adjusted the cams a little and got a nice idle worked for me

   Thats what im thinking but would yours rev? i cant get mine to rev all the time. Sorry to hijack your thread to who ever made it lol.

   Yh mine revs up fine u just got a find a sweet spot and it's very little ajustments u need to make I still have the problem ov running rich at idle but now I have moved the cams I dnt rili notice it

   Mine wont idle and stinks of petrol as its flooding, it will sometimes keep running but most of the time just cut out so the only way to start it is to hold the trottle down so it can rev high and burn that extra fuel.

   Very strange have u tried reseting the ecu ?

   right guys replaced my icv to start the car was idling even worse but after abit it was fine but now when im driving at 2000rpm when ya put clutch in the revs drop to the point of cutting out but come back to idle if i boot it then put the clutch in it cuts out so taking to garage tomorrow ill let you know the out come

    Right the garage seem to think it's the coolant temp sensor that's goes to ecu so just ordered a new one for tomorrow so fingers crossed she will be fixed

    The one behide the manifold? Mine isn't idling right, ordered a ICV and it came broken in the post. Waiting for another one to be sent out fs, raging lol.
    Pure death trip driving the car when it idles really high lol.
