slipping when in gear

I was accelerating in second before and when I got to about 3 or 4 k revs it was slipping out of gear . Felt a bit sluggish and at one point the revs went up a bit then back down like it had gone into neutral for a second.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Does that mean my clutch is on its way out or could it just need tightening? The cars done 63k and i'm pretty sure its still on its first clutch. I'd rather not take it to a garage if possible :s.

Ah shit I was going to get it lowered this weekend aswell. Probably wont happen now as this is more important!

I've made a new thread about it in the for sale wanted section but i'll ask on here aswell.

Anyone want to replace my clutch? How much wud u be charging? I can get a new clutch no problem theres a parts dealer round the corner from me. I live in south manchester in the cheadle area near stockport. Thanks

If you're up for a mission down here then hand over £150 and i'll fit your clutch and lower the car, plus £12 for gear oil.

I'd do it, depends how soon you want it doing as iv got a couple of jobs to do in the next week around my shifts

Give me a pm anyway if you get stuck

And If your not replacing with a genuine Vaelo clutch use an LUK one there a bit cheaper and iv used a few!

Don't bother with any of these cheap ones like what euro sell transmech etc! More hassle than there worth and such false economy!

Shame it's not a 200mm clutch as I have a brand new luk one here I never ended up using
