The usual symptoms are Negative camber on the back wheels, noises from the rear beam (usually when going over bumps) that sound like two bottle hitting each other and when the car is jacked up play or movement on the back wheel/s
Think thats most of them but im sure theres others I dont know about

the to bottles hittin together noise (pinkin noise) is caused by the bolt that hold the arb usually
just jack the car up and check if theres any play or sit on even ground and measure both sides

Would the whole rear of the car be tilted over very slightly to one side when the car is on the ground?

Yes its possible, common fault with saxo's are the sub pins on the axle snapping. Which is usually caused by uneven weight distribution when the car has been lowered, best way to tell is to jack it up and see if theres any play

No, it's caused by water getting into the seals and bearings that run on the stub pins which then washes all tw grease out and the bearings start to wear away the stubb pins. You will normally find pitting on the stubb pins if theres movement in the trailing arms.

Any problems drop me a PM we refurb them properly, including pressing new stubb pins in and out.
