   Hi. I'm doing my old Saxo up. I have noticed oil in my Rad. The head gasket is ok. I was told that there is oil and water mix with the Saxo Rad, but I'm not sure how to deal with it.
   Has anybody had this problem with there oil and water? and know what too do?.

   Are you absolutely 100% that the head gasket hasn't gone? Is there any water in the oil on the dipstick? It might be worth getting a compression test done at a garage

   sounds like the headgasket is weaping slightly, mine is doing the same, i only noticed it cause i changed my coolant. but there is no sign of headgasket failuer. even had it on the gas machine at work. with will pick up engine gasses in coolant, but nothing, but it'll be coming off road soon for repairs and tidy up so i'll be doing it. if yours is off road then to be safe i'd do the headgasket. but i were told by lads at work (i'm a mechanic) that it will need changing a.s.a.p but the car doesn't feel any different to drive, the temp bearly goes up above half so its not totally gone..........yet.

   Yer sure, there is no water on dipstick, no white slim in oil cap, everything is normal. The oil seems to be coming from around the rad. The car is running really well

   Yer the same as mine. Iv got no water on dipstick and no slim on oil cap. Runs really well, but the oil seems to be more around the Rad. Its driving ok, not sure what to do next, trouble is not much cash and garage will charge a lot just to check it out.

   im getting the exact same probem, taking it to a friend who has a garage and he is going to use a sniffer to see if it is the head gasket..
