saxo vtr immobiliser light on dash flashing?

   hi can anyone help bought a non running saxo vtr 1990 immobiliser light on dash is flashing i took a ecu ignition barrel and coder ring that goes round barrel from a running saxo vtr same age and it still wont start? would an unlockd ecu work?

   An unlocked ecu should work yes also have you tried giving the key a small knock on the edge of a table for example as sometimes if you drop the key its transponder stops working but the 2nd small knock usually gets it to work again.

   Ye sounds like you need an unlocked ECU,
   Bluehawk electronics do it in Hucknall, Nottingham.. cost you about £90 get it back the next day.
