1.1 tachometer

   as im sure all you fellow 1.1 owners know, well most of you our cars dont have rev meters/tachometer, its starting to grind on me a bit cos' i dont know how much i can rev my car lol, i dont want to redline it.
   
   what can i do? i was thinkin a little digital rev meter mounted sumwhere? but how would it be fitted?

   well im thinking the same got a clock there instead lol would rather no the revs that the time lol

   Ive got a rev counter in my Y reg 1.1 desire, could nick the dash from one of them....just a thought.

   yea i had the same dash in my old 1.0mk2 its had a rather cool dash with a rev counter and that

   I have a rev counter in my car and mine is a 1.1

   my 1.1 forte has a rev counter its 2002

   all people with mk1 1.1s cannot have a rev counter installed, believe me i tryedon my old sax, it will only measure at half the true revs, therefore making it pointless, i even got a auto electrician out to see if he could get it to work prop and he couldnt, rep awaiting boys LOL

   only up to a certain year did they not keep rev counters in them. but you can fit them properly, I think the info required is available in the max power saxo book.

    my mate bought a tachometer and it works shit hot in his mk1 1.1
    no probs at all

    thats on a vtr that already has a rev counter

    must be a mk2 then, or it already has a rev counter standard, there is ABSOLUTLY no way of getting a true reading...... my mate whos a mechanic had a 1.1 saxo had same prob as me, it cannot be done. sorry guys,

    mine is a mk1 1.1i sx, p reg and it has a rav counter
