release bearing seem to be a problem with clutches now, we replace loads at work and some chattter more than others.

    Hi mate
did you find out what the problem was? was it the bearing?
Its just that mine has started doing it and like you I have only just had new clutch and bearing fitted recently and it was a Valeo clutch so it wasn't like it was a cheap one

I'd say release bearing, gonna go to a garage today and see what they say about my thrust bearing too

Went to the garage, got told my clutch release bearing is pretty fucked, I only had it done about 4k miles ago so gonna need a new clutch already, what a fucking piss take

the retaining lip on the rel bearing is tiny (valeo badged INA ones)

Also the fork does not apply even pressure to the back of the bearing - as the bushes holding the clutch arm have loads of wear/play in them.

Get these white plastic bushes in the box housing swapped before the next one.

BTW your clutch will be fine - only the bearing dodgy
