19997 Saxo has strange nosie coming from the engine

    two issues, in the last few days the oil and temp lights have been flashing on and off and now are on permanently (the car isnt hot and the fan isnt kicking in checked oil water levels etc) and now my car has started making a strange noise which ahs been described as like a diesel engine.......any ideas? It is a 97 1.1 saxo
