Rocker cover....

    Hi guys,

Did my tappets the other week and noticed there was a slight oil leak so i took off rocker cover again and cleaned it all up both the seal and the edge of the head but it still leaks.

Would a new gasket do the job?

Another problem is that one of the nuts is buggered and wont tightnen now :/ Has any one got a link or what the part number from citroen is?

    Cheers guys,

    Kurt

P.S. I'm going to get a torque wrench now lol

eyup mate i dont have a clue what the part number for the rocker cover gasket is but there cheaper from side auto parts shops / ebay

    the parts from citroen are:-
    Rocker cover stud - 025060 - £0.29 + VAT
    Rocker cover cap nut - 025062 - £1.05 + VAT

not sure if your threads on the studs are buggerd so i give you both and the torque wrench will be the best thing you can buy just don't buy a cheap one halfords pro ones are one of the best.

    Cheers for the reply man.

Threads are fine on the stud but the nut has had it. Got a temp fix with a nut and washer until i get it sorted on tuesday.

Rocker gasket is avaliable at most motor factors I think (was at Mill Autos) as they fit most of the pug and citroen rocker covers.
