windscreen scuttle panel bolt

   I was going to change my broken one today and i have just found that citroen have used the strangest bolt i've ever seen ! it's a star shape 6 points to it ! doe's anyone know where i could get a tool from to remove this ? i tried pliers but they can't get a decent grip on it

   You mean the torx screw in the middle, or the 2 either side of the scuttle? If it's the torx screw, you need a torx set, from somewhere like halfords etc, if it's the ones on the outside, keep trying with the pliers, or use somthing different, there easy to get off, even a thin screwdriver and a tap with a hammer will get them moving

   If its the bolts on each side mate use a 7mm socket on a extension bar and off they come

   yes mate it's those ones on the ends ! im trying not to damage the paint on the wings though , jesus not much room to fiddle about with , why oh why do they put such tricky things on saxos it took me half an hour to get the bulb out the other day from the headlight drivers side i had to use a mirror in the end to actually see what i was doing ! lol

   mine wouldnt come off with a torx set.
   just got pliers and had to unscrew them like that, loosen them up with the pliers then do the rest by hand, there right bastards to get off

   Give them a spray with wd40 1st then leave then try.
