I have a saxo eastcoast and looking for some ideas on what its problem may be. I have owned it since November and was fine until a couple of months ago. basically it started to cut out whilst driving then wouldn't restart for a while. If the fuel goes below half a tank it cuts out even more. This can be whilst driving slowly or at speed. The accelerator also accelerates without me pressing it sometimes. Now it has got to the point where it wont start at all or when it eventually does start it has to be facing downhill and have at least half a tank of fuel in! If it is facing even slightly up hill there is no chance of it starting. Initial thoughts when it was just cutting out was ICV? Any help would be much appreciated before I take it to a garage and get fobbed off and a massive bill! Thanks
