Changed Gearbox Now Imobilised?

  1. #1
Just finished changing the Gearbox on the VTS for a VTR, just gone to start it up and it just turns over, Imobiliser light is on, and the ECU is clicking its arse off. I've checked all the connectors are plugged in, and its still doing out. The Battery Had gone flat, But still does the same even on a Jump Pack..

Anyone got any idea's to why it has done this???

    Thanks

Battery's either screwed or you have knocked something when replacing the gearbox

sounds to me like crankshaft sensor related....

and why would a crank sensor stop it cranking over?

I've sorted the starting issue, but i got bigger problems now. The new box that i've put it, In grinding its arse off.. I dont know whats causing, Maybe a driveshaft isnt in properly. or the Input shaft aint sitting right in the clutch assembly.

    Any thoughts?
