Key fob

    I had a new battery put in the key fob about a week ago. The 1st day i used it the fob was working fine but the next day it stopped working and since then it has not worked

    i know you said it worked the first day, but did you reset the fob when you put the new battery in ?

    Central locking module, or reprogramme the key a few times, sometimes the don't like getting programmer to just the one key

    Also if your pressing the fob buttons while your not near your car it will throw the key fob out of synchronisation with the car

    take the battery out a few times. i did that to mine as its never stopped working since

    What westgarth said, disconnect the battery for a bit the re connect it and programme your key

    same thing ahppened to me my battery went dead left it about a year until i cba to get another battery, fitted it, and it didnt work so i thought sod this and bought a hawk rcl kit for £20 its an awesome bit of kit for the money and so easy to fit
