Replacement fob cover

Hi, i've come here for your help. My girlfriend owns a 1.1L, 02 plate, saxo desire and on her key fob the plastic covers of the buttons have broken. For a while she was using her house key to push the button but has now resorted to unlocking/locking the car manually with her keys.

I was intending on purchasing something like this, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-two-2-...#ht_757wt_1139 , which is just the outside case as the internals of her fob still work perfectly fine. Then i was just going to transfer the circuit board from the old one to the new one, including transferring the battery.

What i wish to know is, will i encounter any issues with doing this such as having to re-sync the fob to the car, as not owning a saxo i don't know and I thought this would be a good place to ask.

    Thanks in advance!
    Sam

Had the exact same problem with mine and bought the exact same thing, just swapped the circuit board and battery etc over and now it's as good as new.

i had this problem as well. i went to my nearest scrappy and got a fob from there and swapped the circuit board and battery around and it worked as new. you wont need to sync anything.

i did the same thing, but bought a fob with a blank blade attached. fob works perfectly, but the blade is temperamental!
