I know you are meant to drop a bonnet to shut it and not put it down then press on it to shut, but it is usually possible with most cars.
With the saxo however if you put the bonnet down onto the catch, and then press on it to shut it won't...i have to drop it to get it to shut. I think this maybe something to do with the adjustment, maybe those adjuster bungs on the slam panel or the catch itself or something? Its a bit daunting dropping my bonnet from quite a height you see.
