Problem with exhaust and overheating

    I am having to get a new exhaust for my VTR. I've noticed it has a de-cat on it. But I've been looking at some sports exhaust which fit my VTR but am they don't have a de-cat.
    Can someone explain if this would cause a problem.

    I am also having a problem with the car thinking it's over heating and so the fan kicks in every few minutes. Even after driving a couple of minutes from cold start. After a bit of searching, I have read that I should look at checking the temp sensor.
    Can anyone advise if this is correct?

    Your cooling system probably needs bleeding & your exhaust will be fine either with or without the CAT if you have 2 lambda sensors then 1 will need to have a sleeve fitted GMCMOTORSPORT sell them.Without the sleeve your engine management light will be on.

    Is bleeding the cooling system something I can do myself?
    And if I got the sports exhaust I'm understanding that it would only have one lambada so what would happen to other one.
    Do you know where I can download a good diagrams of where all sensors are. And which are which.
