5k limiter

   still got the problem of the 5k limiter changed crank sensor had all sensors checked and nothing any1 got any ides on what this could be as its really winding me up now. for those that dont know i have a problem with my car only reving to 5000 rpm feels asif it hits the limiter as sson as u hit 5k eml light flashes and car just jerks its wierd so any help would be much appreciated

   If eml is flashing then it is seing a fualt ,take ti too somebody that can do more than just read codes and that can watch "live data"--not just a code reader .but a proper diagnostic tool is what is needed

   it has been on a diagnostic machine and when it hit the limiter it flashed rpm ciruit if that helps

   found out what it is its the cranksensor and only works when u push where it connects to loom right against engine block any ideas?

   loose wire or faluty sensor

   been threw about five diferent sensors only works if pushed right in not even if its pushed a lil in wierd

   wire damage somewhere in the loom or interference could require the stronger signal youll get by pushing the sensor closer to the flywheel. The cable needs to have a ground shield and be a twisted pair.
