   I need a new Aerial, as the one i have is about the same length as my car...

   Only thing is will i still get a good radio signal? I heard they go bad when its shorter

   yeah will be worse
   havent fitted it yet but im sure itll be fine
   
   i hardly ever listen to the radio anyway
   
   its either a fishing rod with good signal or bee sting with slightly worse

   I fitted a 306 aerial to mine, dunno why but I like it, even though it looks standard, haha.

   If you just want a fairly standard looking but shorter one the 206 ones fit, dont give bad reception either.

   Get rid of it all together with a ax aerial bung looks better and once the internal aerial ring is bolted to the roof you still get a great signal.
