Lamba sensor

having a problem with my mk 2 vts just sorted an idling problem with a new icv and a new coolant temp sensor.
BUT! when its at running temp if ya put ya foot down and then come to a stop (put clutch in to stop stalling) it cuts out but if ya driving nice 2000rpm every gear change its fine could it be the lamba sensor.
can anyone help me with this problem from past experiencies or mechanicaly knowlodgable people pritty please .

It could be ya lambda sensor, mine was holding back and cutting out at junctions etc and a new lambda cured it for a month.....................

I dont think it would be the Lamba sensor as this only checks the CO2 levels being released after the air has been through the engine, it just tells the ECU when to ease up on fuel or kick in abit more.

If your thinking about replacing it - Unplug the Lamba sensor and drive around without it for a while and see how thngs go, it doesnt cost too much more on fuel it just means you might be running a little rich on fuel.
