vts exhaust

i got a decat fitted to my standard vts exhaust but now i might change the back box for a stright through pipe, had anyone else done this? how does it sound? on my punto turbo i fitted a complete strigh throught exhaust and it sounded the nuts

straight through is fine on a turbo, no-go on n/a, you'll lose power. the boxes are there for a reason
  3. #3
yeah i know thats why i was keeping the mid sections due to back pressure etc..
  4. #4
then it wont be a straight through...

as above, straight through is exactly that- straight pipe from manifold to the rear of the car with no boxes or silencers.
oh and if that piperx filter in your avatar is still on, then you can fit any exhaust in the world, you'll still be losing power

    i quote myself :

i might change the back box for a stright through pipe

menaing only the back box not the mid box like i said, so i am not saying complete strigh through

i would say u should remove the cat an keep the silencer an the back box as things mite get a bit 2 loud, also the pressure runnin through ur exhaust may change an cause ur car 2 run a wee bit rough.
