ABS

    Hi,

iv got a VTS mk2 and I'm having real trouble with my ABS light (and the fact the ABS doesn't work), after searching the forums I found out how to check the sensors and found out that the front and rear N/S sensors were faulty. iv replaced both of them and the light is still on (i tried disconnecting the battery for a while for a laugh but still its on). I have also checked the fuse in the engine bay (it was number 2 if anyone interested) and that's fine.
I'm guessing it could be the ABS pump maybe? (can this be checked without removing it?)
    Any help would be appreciated.

    cheers
    Mark

have your car plugged into a diagnostic machine if you haven't already... You may have some faulty wires in there as well

I heard thats pretty pricy (dont suppose you know how much it is?) Also do you have to get it done at a Citroen garage?

citroen will rape you, try a smaller independant garage, you must have family/friends that can recommend somewhere. price? no idea as it will vary.

I found an independant garage. I paid 20 quid when I plugged my car in, never had to use Citroens. it's basically a laptop, a cable and the PSA diagnostic software. http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/prod...l_Edition.html
