I have ran my wires under my carpets ready to connect them up to the CD player.. does anyone know which wires i connect them to? i have a JVC cd player and have wires for 6x9s, sub and amp.

Also which wires do i cut and swop around to stop my CD player from starting from the beginging all the time? its very anoying.

wrong section really. But the wires from your amp to the back of your radio should be pretty obvious as they will look the reverse to what it is on the end of the wires.the blue signal wire goes to the signal output from the head unit. the big red one goes to the battery and the - wire goes to a good earth point (back seat retaining bolts)

and the 2 wires you need to swap are the red one and the yellow one on the wiring loom that should give you a constant feed so you keep your memory.

When do they ever not sound shit?

And to the OP, if you're unsure why we're slating 6x9's, have a read of this thread:

First off, swap the red and yellow wires to stop the CD player losing its memory when you turn the ignition off

I am guessing you have an Amp wiring kit?

There will be a remote cable (usually blue) which needs to connect to the remote wire on the back of the CD player (again usually blue), this then screws into the remote bit on the amp

RCA leads (phono red and white) go from the back of the CD player directly to the amp

Ground (black) from the amp to somewhere metal on the bodywork

Power (red) from the amp to battery obviously

Speaker cables from amp to the sub and 6x9

    Job done

Check this guide out with diagram
