Hey all, i have recently bought a saxo vtr 60k miles 12months mot 12months tax 51 plate 1750 had tinted windows and gay lexarse lights which i removed asap so now im left with a standard car to start my work on
anyhow when driving the car i noticed as i get to around 3,500 rpm there's a rattle/vibrating noise coming from the front and its really noticeable my friend has taken all the heat shields off his car and it still dose it i checked mine and all seem nice n tight so i can rule that out i think any ideas what this is?
And problem number 2 there's a "ting" noise when i set off almost like exhaust moving and hitting something but ive been under the car and all is tight and well even tightened the spare wheel just in case + if you apply the handbrake and go to set off it dose the noise so its definitely something moving somewhere just not sure what
and my third and final problem is a knocking noise when doing 3 point turn or dry steering or pulling out of parallel parked positions i put the wheels on full lock and inspected the suspension and strut set ups at both sides sounds to be coming from drivers side i found that they was a split in the rubber on the top half of the droplink where it connects to the strut but no play in it :/
any help advice would be much appreciated , thanks alot
kieran.
