Wheel scrapping back bumper on 1.1

  1. #1
Ive lowered my saxo 40mm all round and put 15inch wheels on with a 50 profile. I angle grinded the arches etc to get rid of the scrubbing but now have the problem of the wheels touching the back bumpers plastic when I have people in the back.

Would putting a VTR/S bumper on solve the problem at all?

Or are my shocks messed up?

Not sure what to do but some advice would be cool as its a pain in the ass!

    Thanks guys x

having 3 people in the back with 50 profile dont mix too well, you should have 45 profile on 15's...and dont have 3 people in the back!

Should have been more specific, it scrapes if I have one person in the back, really annoying!

hmm, i think its lowered more then 40mm to be doing that, how wide are your wheels? getting smaller profile tyres will definitely help

My sax is lowered around 40mm at rear, im sitting on 15 team d's with 45's and i had 3 in the back of my sax, and im talking 13+ stoners also my new gearbox in the boot and never had 1 bit of rub... infact.. i was tempted to leave them in there and save the hassel of dropping her abit lower since i actually liked how low she sat.

Admittedly it is a VTR, but.. there isnt that much difference if any between arches/bumpers to be honest

if yours is a vtr it will sit lower anyway, so i dont see how 40mm + 3 people in a 1.1 can rub, mines 55mm drop and with 5 people in car it dont rub at all
