Bad Offset, No Trouble?

Just bought a set of wheels, but they are ET25. Shop said that they'll be fine so I trusted him, and assured me that if I have any scraping he'll put on a set of spacers free of charge. No scraping or problems yet but I've noticed that the rear wheel is sitting very very close to the "brake arm" (sorry for the non technical term)... maybe 2 mm clearance. But still the shop said that the arm only moves vertically so there will be no problems. Should I just leave the wheels as they are and leave my mind to rest?!

    Wheels are 6j 14", tyres 195/65/14.

    Thanks!

Would I need longer bolts for 5mm spacers? I guess if I go with 10mm spacers I'd need longer bolts?

i would get longer bolts just to be on the safe side fella, as the standard ones would only be n about 3turns

Spacers with longer bolts are bad,

Go for hubcentric.. bolt the spacer to the hub, and the wheel to the spacer
ALOT safer, only down side is they cost abit more

Some one correct me if im wrong?

Ok sorted now. Put 5mm spacers on the rear. Bolts were already a bit long as I had about 9 turns with 5mm spacers!
