btb 4-1 manifold, any good?

just managed to get hold of one for just over the money i wanted to spend, are they any good its a mild steel for my vtr says its a 4-1 (not 421)

The btb sytem is awesome! Specifically designed for big powered engines but works/sounds perfectly well with standard power.

What exhaust are you pairing it with? Just that the first thing i noticed with mine when i stuck my head under the car was the huge bore size

Might be an issue if you're not pairing it with the rest of the BTB system...

Sweeet!...pairing it with my miltek systems which is fairly big bore, substantially bigger than standard

so is the bore of the pipe comong off the the engine bigger? My raceland I had before was tiny compared to my cousins zetec s 1.3 and it looked quite shite in the engine bay :/

My mate and I both had BTB manifolds. Both fell apart at the collector.

In my opinion, the pipe diameters are way too big for a standard engine. Mine felt better when I went back to a standard manifold.

Good manifold, desighned for high power but no reason it wont work on your car, think that they may be a 2.5" diamiter though?? may cause an issue if fitting to a smaller bore??
