Electrics problem, Noob help please :)

Hi guys, I wired up a sub today to a sony head unit and it worked fine, but when i pushed the head unit back in its back something made a clicking sound and now the car cd player doesn't work and the fuel/temp gauge stay up where they were when i turn the engine off - it also resets the time to 1.00, I'm confused and now the central locking doesn't work... any ideas?

you have shorted somthing out while pushing the headunit back in

the clicking was somthing arcing out! ie a live wire touching metel most problalby the headunit cage!

take it all back out and check all your fuses must have blown a few and be more careful when putting it all back/make sure nothing can get trapped/bared again

seen so many people do this its untrue! lad last week blew every fuse and relay in his clio done exacly same thing! luckly it didnt cause more damage

also take negative off battery when working on electrics
