vtr mainbeam problem

   Hi all im a newbie at all this but my vtr has a few probs and been told this is the best place to come to so here goes .
   
   When i put my head lights all fine flick mainbeam on n/s works but o/s goes out leaving side light on ive changed the bulb but no luck is it the stalk or is it more serious .
   
   any advice would be appreciated thanx in advanced ?????

   try your fuses in the engine fuse box should be the one in the corner at the end without the fuse in the middle just check either two cos i cudnt explain whether its the right or left one. im reading from the haynes manual here

   Stalks are a common fault on saxos but as said start at the basics and check fuses etc

   Hi i had a look at the fuses all look intact????
   i recon a new stalk is in order
